- Thành viên @lesmo_sft trên diễn đàn XDA Developer đã phát hành 1 công cụ hỗ trợ update cho 1 số dòng windows phone lên phiên bản 7.8 chính thức. Các máy bắt buộc phải trở về nguyên bản tức chưa jailbreak để tránh tình trạng bị brick máy.
- Một số bước cần làm trước khi chạy tool :
. Windows Vista, 7 or 8 (XP is not supported)
. Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 (already installed in most PCs)
. Windows Phone Support Tools (you can download it through the tool)
. Your Windows Phone
- Làm theo từng bước tại đây :
. Just start the wizard
. In the ZIP file you'll find the file "Sharp7Eighter.exe", the "External" and "es" folder (spanish localization). The important things are the first two: the wizard and the utility.
. Extract the contents of the ZIP file and run "Sharp7Eigther.exe", and click the "Start" button.
. You'll need to choose the languages installed in your phone, make sure you don't skip or add any... you may cause yourself a big headache.
. After that, just sit back and relax. If your phone uses an unlock code, you'll need to be unlocking it during the updates.
